Research Abstract |
研究者はValosin-containing protein (VCP)の転写制御因子としてPre B cell leukemia transcription factor 1 (PBX1)を同定した。本研究は、これまでの研究を発展させ、癌細胞のVCP転写メカニズムをさらに詳細に検討すること、転写因子PBX1の重要性についての詳細な検討を行なうことを目的として行なった。その結果、VCP転写にはPBX1以外にE74-like factor 2が重要な役割をすること、肺腫瘍においては、PBX1よりむしろそのファミリーのPBX2が転写に重要な役割を果たすことが確認された。
