Research Abstract |
脈管(血管・リンパ管)新生での細胞間相互の情報伝達機構、細胞の機能変化、さらに脈管新生を基盤とする病態(血管新生病など)の解明と治療法の開発は極めて重要かつ緊急課題である。本研究では、動脈硬化、血管炎、血管新生病(腫瘍・糖尿病)あるいは臓器・組織虚血と側副血行路発達、リンパ管新生に関する分子病態の検討から、血管病変進展において脈管(血管・リンパ管)新生関連因シグナルが病態形成に中心的役割を果たしていることが明らかになった。
