Research Abstract

神経組織の微小環境は、血管が形成するバリアー機能により至適状態に維持されるが、糖尿病網膜症・虚血性脳疾患などの疾患では、局所の低酸素状態により血管バリアー機能が障害され病態を悪化させる。本研究では、低酸素刺激下の脳血管内皮細胞におけるtight junction構成分子claudin-5の発現変化が血管バリアー機能障害の主因であり、その発現制御にubiquitin-proteasome系が関与していることを示唆する研究成果が得られた。
