Research Abstract |
炎症と細胞死を制御するASCのピロリ菌感染における役割を解明するために、ASC欠損マウスにピロリ菌を感染させた所、野生型マウスに比し、感染は高率であったものの、炎症はより軽度であるという結果を得た。宿主防御反応に重要と思われるIL-1b産生がASC欠損故に無く, 特にIL-18の産生も無くそれで誘導されるIFN-gが産生されなかったためという分子機序を示唆することが出来た。
