Research Abstract

固形腫瘍に対する細胞性免疫療法(腫瘍抗原特異的T 細胞を活性化あるいは移入する治療法)は、長期間続く腫瘍特異的メモリー免疫応答を誘導し、現在の手術療法、化学、放射線療法などの治療法との併用で、腫瘍の根絶が期待できる治療法であると考えられるが、その確固たる治療効果(実地の臨床試験でも報告されているように腫瘍抗原特異的T 細胞応答が体内で誘導されても、腫瘍の縮小効果が必ずしも認められない)が得られていないため、悪性腫瘍の標準的治療への取り入れは未だ実現していない。
