Research Abstract

研究成果の概要:悪性中皮腫においてNF2遺伝子産物マーリンの腫瘍抑制機構を解明するためにマーリンの関与する細胞内情報伝達経路、結合蛋白および発現の制御される遺伝子群の同定を行った。NF2遺伝子の機能失活型変異を有する細胞株にマーリンを発現させることにより、Hippo経路、AKTの活性化に影響を及ぼすことを明らかにした。マーリンの発現により細胞の増殖能の低下がみられ、アポトーシスが誘導されることを見出した。また発現解析を行い幾つかのマーリンにより発現の制御される遺伝子を同定した。本研究成果は悪性中皮腫の新規治療法や診断マーカーの開発-の可能性があるものと考えられた。
