Research Abstract

緑膿菌の多剤耐性化因子の一つは多剤排出ポンプ(MexAB-OprM)にある。このポンプを阻害して、多剤耐性の抑制を試みた。
(1)OprMの細胞外ループに対する抗体を作成し緑膿菌に作用させると、菌は薬剤に感受性となった。
(2)ポンプサブユニットの集合を阻害するためのペプチドを合成した。このペプチドを作用させると、菌は感受性となった。
これらの結果は抗体とペプチドはポンプ阻害剤として働くことを示す。
