Research Abstract

花粉症などI型アレルギーはIgEを介して発症するが、IgE産生細胞についてはよくわかっていない。そこで、マウスのIgE陽性B細胞についての解析を行い、リンパ組織である脾臓および骨髄中のIgE陽性細胞を調べたところ、脾臓では数百程度のIgE陽性B細胞が存在することが確認された。これらは長期間存在するIgG陽性の記憶B細胞と類似したものが主要であった。一方骨髄ではIgE陽性細胞は存在するものの、IgE陽性B細胞はごく少数であった。
