Research Abstract

透析患者の血清中微量元素濃度を測定し、健常成人の血清中微量元素濃度と比較した。透析患者で健常成人よりも高値を示した元素は、モリブデン、コバルト、マンガン、ホウ素、ストロンチウム、ヒ素、フッ素で、ルビジウムとカドミウムは男性のみが高値を示した。反対に透析患者で低値を示した元素は亜鉛、銅、セレンであった。透析患者の死亡率と関連が見られたのは銅、セレン及びホウ素であった。透析患者の骨密度は同年代の健常人に比べて低レベルにあった。
