| Research Abstract |
E型肝炎ウイルス(HEV)は、近年日本でもブタやイノシシの肉を食べることによる感染が多発し、早急な対策が望まれてきている。本研究では、ブタ肝臓よりHEVを分離し、培養細胞系で増殖できるシステムを確立した。また、本クローンをカニクイザルに接種することにより肝炎を発症させることにも成功した。本クローンを用いた培養システムは抗HEV剤のスクリーニングにも応用可能であり、E型肝炎の治療法の確立に役立つと考えられる。
