Research Abstract

ベトナム戦争時に枯葉剤が濃厚に散布された南ベトナムの一地区の授乳期婦人から母乳と末梢血を採取して、母乳中のダイオキシン値と末梢血の姉妹染色体分体交換(SCE)指数を測定したところ、対象地区の授乳期婦人のそれに比べ、
(1)母乳中のダイオキシン値は3~4倍高値であり、
(2)SCE indexは有意に高いこと、また、
(3)母乳中のダイオキシン値とSCE indexのlog値を取ったところ、相関することが判った。
