Research Abstract |
我々は膵癌幹細胞を標的とした骨髄由来細胞による遺伝子治療を行うことを最終目的に、膵癌幹細胞の同定と、骨髄由来細胞をその特異的攻撃細胞として遺伝子を発現させるために基礎検討を行った。最近、上皮間葉形質転換(EMT)が誘導されている癌細胞と癌幹細胞の性質が類似していると報告されたことから、我々は膵癌のEMTを誘導するBMP4の下流の標的遺伝子であるMSX2とS100Pに着目して研究を行った。その結果、これらの分子を発現する癌細胞が膵癌幹細胞を多く含む可能性を示唆した。
