| Research Abstract |
ヒト肝癌で異常メチル化が報告されている19種類の遺伝子座位に関して、正常肝、各種の慢性肝炎組織、肝癌の前癌病変、肝癌組織のメチル化レベルを定量し、肝発癌の初期に重要と思われる7種類の遺伝子座位を選び出した。これらの遺伝子座位のメチル化は前癌病変で肝癌と同程度のレベルのメチル化が認められ、また高発癌母地であるウイルス性肝炎組織でも低レベルながらメチル化が認められたが、発癌リスクの少ないPBCの組織ではメチル化が認められなかった。またインターフェロン治療による肝炎ウイルスの消失後、数年の経過でそのメチル化も改善(消失)していた。従って、これらの遺伝子メチル化は肝発癌の初期に重要であり、その消失は発癌リスクの低下につながると考えられた。
