Research Abstract |
脂肪酸β酸化の律速段階を制御する遺伝子とその機能性遺伝子多型を特定し、脂肪酸のβ酸化能をin vivoで測定するために必要な手法を開発し、遺伝子多型に応じて肝臓における脂肪酸β酸化能に個体差が生じることも明らかにした。そこで野生型および変異型蛋白質を遺伝子組み換えにより作成した。これに反応する抗体を作成したところ、両者ともWesaternblotで単一バンドとして検出され、細胞内では2量体として存在することが明らかになった。
