Research Abstract

慢性膵炎の主な病理学的現象は膵組織の線維化であり、その線維化の発症伸展の中心的役割を果たすのは活性化膵星細胞である。本研究ではその活性化膵星細胞の増殖や遊走能の分子メカニズムを解明し、それらを抑制する方法を見いだして活性化星細胞の機能を制御する事により、膵線維化の予防ならびに治療法の開発の一助とすべく、本研究を遂行した。
