| Research Abstract |
2型糖尿病および高血圧を自然発症するOLETFラットの腎尿細管において、脂肪滴の集積とO_2-過剰産生を認めた。アンジオテンシンII受容体拮抗薬、またはカルシウム拮抗薬の連続8週投与は、OLETF腎における腎脂質含量を低下させ、O_2-産生亢進を抑制し、また、AMP キナーゼの活性を亢進していることが明らかになった。いずれの降圧剤も糖尿病モデルにおける腎リポトキシシティ改善に有効である可能性がある。
