| Research Abstract |
筋萎縮性側索硬化症(Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis以下ALS)は神経疾患のなかで最も過酷な疾患とされており、早期に病因の解明と有効な治療法の確立が求められている。本研究ではALS病態下では再生誘導因子は強力な運動ニューロン保護因子として働くだけでなくアストロサイト機能修飾作用とミクログリア活性化抑制作用も合わせもつ細胞外微小環境調整因子として働くことを見出した。
