Research Abstract |
齧歯類の実験的脳虚血モデルを用い、脳虚血作製後の治療開始であっても、可溶性Flt-1 の遺伝子導入が血管透過性亢進の著明な阻害作用を示し、脳浮腫ならびに脳梗塞を軽減することを明らかにした。また、国産の遺伝子導入ベクターであるセンダイウイルスベクターを用いた脳への遺伝子導入がアデノウイルスベクターと同様の有効性を示すことを認めた。脳虚血部位における微小血管構築の破綻と血管透過性亢進に対する保護作用が期待され、国産技術による臨床的な遺伝子治療の開発につながる成果が得られたと考えられる。
