| Research Abstract |
クロイツフェルト・ヤコブ病の診断法として頭部MRI拡散強調画像と髄液の総タウ蛋白、14-3-3蛋白などの有効性が知られている。これらを含め、最も感度・特異度が優れた検査法を検討する目的でプリオン病サーベイランス委員会の協力を得て、日本における世界に発信できる髄液検査法の確立をめざして髄液の中の総タウ蛋白、14-3-3蛋白の有用性を検討した。また、これらはかなりの診断精度であるにも関わらず、病因論的には特異的とは言えない。病理診断の機会が少ない本邦において、髄液などの比較的低侵襲で得られる検体で、病因特異的、即ち「異常プリオン蛋白」を検出する方法としてPMCA法の開発を目指した。
