Research Abstract

ERK2ノックアウト・マウス群では、野生型コントロール群と比較し、脳梗塞後の関心領域の脳微小血流および毛細血管内赤血球速度の回復過程が時間的に速い傾向が認められた。また、TTC染色を用いて脳梗塞24時間後の梗塞体積を2群間で比較したところ、ERK2ノックアウト・マウス群の方が若干小さくなる傾向が認められた。一方、MRIを用いた検討では、その梗塞体積に有意差は認められなかった。局所脳虚血後の梗塞病変の進展拡大においてERK2シグナル伝達機構が増悪因子として作用しており、将来の脳梗塞後の治療のターゲットとなり得る可能性があることが示唆された。
