Research Abstract

小脳発達障害候補遺伝子BRAP2の生化学的解析をおこない、BRAP2は現在までに知られているプロテアソームによるタンパク質分解系とは異なる様式でポリユビキチン化することを見出した。さらに個体レベルでの機能解析を目指してGene trap 法によるマウスES細胞のデータベースより、brap2遺伝子の領域にターゲティングされたクローンを見つけた。ノックアウトマウスを作成する目的でヘミ接合子マウスを作製した。
