Research Abstract

虚血性心疾患の危険因子の集積した病態であるメタボリックシンドローム(Mets)の肝では、ChREBPの活性が亢進している。ChREBPの抑制によりMets病態が改善することから、ChREBPの機能抑制法の探索を試みた。ChREBPの活性を抑制するDnMlxの過剰発現は耐糖能や中性脂肪含量の減量に有効であった。次に、ChREBPは血糖降下ホルモンFgf-21や時計遺伝子Dec1の発現を調節することを明らかにした。最後に、ChREBP転写活性調節薬のスクリーニング法を確立した。
