Research Abstract

2型糖尿病の寛解療法にむけてはラ氏島過形成の分子機構の解明が重要である。本研究では、脂肪肝モデルFLSマウスは6ヶ月齢から12カ月齢にかけて糖尿病の自然寛解がみられるが、その改善に膵β細胞増加による代償性インスリン分泌進を基盤とすること、膵β細胞数増加に関与が知られるIrs2ならびにGck遺伝子の膵ラ氏島発現は進していないことを見出し、これらとは独立した機序が関与することを明らかにした。
