Research Abstract

われわれは骨髄内直接移植法を開発することにより、ヒト臍帯血中に非常に未分化なCD34抗原陰性造血幹細胞(CD34-HSC)の同定に初めて成功した。本研究で、このCD34-HSCがc-kitやflt3というマウスHSCに重要な分子を発現しないこと、さらに、従来未分化とされていたCD34^+CD38-HSCよりも未分化な幹細胞であり、異なるin vivo 増殖分化動態を示すことを明らかにした。一方、CD34-HSCの可塑性は極めて限定的なものと考えられた。
