Research Abstract

全身性エリテマトーデス(SLE)の特徴を持つ自己免疫疾患を自然発症するBXSBマウスは、Yaa遺伝子がその病態形成に重要な役割を果たしている。このYaa遺伝子の異常はB細胞に発現されており、また脾臓においてYaa遺伝子の存在下ではマージナルゾーン(MZ)B細胞が著明に減少していることが知られている。我々は、Yaa遺伝子に伴うMZ B細胞の減少とB細胞抗原レセプター(BCR)及びそれに関わる分子との関わりについて、2種類の遺伝子改変マウスを用いて検討した。結果、BCRシグナル強度による違いがMZ B細胞の構成に影響を与えていると考えられた。
