| Research Abstract |
RNAウイルスが感染細胞内で複製する際に2本鎖RNAが形成され、細胞内にはこの2本鎖RNAを認識し抗ウイルス作用を現す受容体が存在する。本研究では呼吸器感染ウイルスであるRSウイルス感染細胞に合成2本鎖RNA(poly(I : C))を添加してその抗RSV作用を検討した。結果は、poly(I : C)をRSV感染24時間前、感染直後、及び感染24時間後に培養液中に添加したところ、培養液上清中のRSV量は有意に減少し、2本鎖RNAの抗RSV作用が示唆された。
