Research Abstract

片側尿管結紮によるマウス腎線維化モデルにおいて、選択的マトリックスメタロプロテイナーゼ阻害剤を用いた実験により、腎線維化修復過程においては、マトリックスメタロプロテイナーゼにより分解された細胞外基質成分がマクロファージ浸潤を促進させ、その〓食処理により腎線維化の軽減と組織修復に関わっている可能性が示された。これらの結果は、マトリックスメタロプロテイナーゼ遺伝子過剰発現マクロファージを用いた腎線維化治療の可能性を裏付けるものであった。
