| Research Abstract |
本研究により、ヘパリン結合性成長因子であるミッドカイン(MK)が羊膜に作用する「胎児シグナル」として働き、子宮収縮物質であるプロスタグランディンを産生する酵素であるCOX2の発現抑制などを介して妊娠維持に関与している可能性が示唆された。またMKはACTH受容体の発現を抑制し、ヒト胎児副腎の恒常性維持に関与している可能性があることが示唆された。従来の研究成績とあわせ、MKは分娩発来機構の中にあって抑制制御因子、あるいは恒常性維持因子として働いている可能性が推察された。
