Research Abstract

乾癬は、免疫学的異常と環境要因が相互に作用し合って発症する慢性疾患である。遺伝学的解析の結果、(1)乾癬の発症には免疫反応の制御に関わる血液型のひとつであるHLA-Cw6の極めて重要である、(2)このHLAと結合するレセプターに多様性があり、そのことが乾癬治療薬の効き具合に寄与している。(3)従来からの別の乾癬治療薬(メトトレキサート)の効果と葉酸代謝に関わる酵素の遺伝子多型とが相関する、以上の点を明らかにした。
