Research Abstract

本研究は、幼児虐待を視野に入れ、脳内神経回路網が急速に発達する幼児期に過度のストレスを負荷すると、成長後ストレスに対する脆弱性が生じるとの仮説を動物実験により証明した。すなわちラット幼若期の一定期間にストレスを負荷により、成長後の情動行動ならびにシナプス応答に異常が生じることを明らかにし、またその背景にはセロトニン神経の機能変化による可能性を示唆した。
