Research Abstract

本邦における腹部大動脈瘤患者の解剖学的特徴を明らかにするとともに、高齢者や外科手術ハイリスク例にも開腹手術なしに、低侵襲的に治療できるステントグラフト治療の有用性と問題点を検討した。本研究により、日本人の解剖学的特徴を考慮した治療プラニングが必要であることが確認され、瘤径推移とエンドリークの関連性が示唆された。さらにステントグラフト治療の適応拡大を目的とした穴付きステントグラフトを設計し、臨床応用を行い、良好な初期成績を得ることができた。
