Research Abstract

2007年度は二頭のサルで膵島分離を行った。一頭目は分離した膵島が移植基準に達せず、移植できなかった。二頭目は移植基準に達したため、自家膵島移植を行ったが、糖尿病は軽快しなかった。2008年度は二組のペアーで同種膵島移植を試みたが、一組目は二頭共に分離した膵島数が移植基準に達しなかった。二組目は分離した膵島は移植基準に達したが、一頭は膵切後の腹膜炎で死亡し、もう一頭は糖尿病を誘発するために投与した薬剤の毒性で死亡した。
