Research Abstract |
近年の研究により多くの癌で遺伝子のスプライシング変異が高頻度に起こっていることが明らかとなった。本研究ではc-myc遺伝子転写抑制因子FIR が消化器癌組織で高発現しており、その原因がFIR 遺伝子自身のスプライシング変異によるものであることを手がかりに、癌における遺伝子のスプライシング変異の意義やその原因について検討した。FIR の発現を各種癌組織で調べることは、このような新規薬剤の抗癌作用や副作用の予測に応用可能であると考えている。
