Research Abstract

これまで癌細胞を選択的に破壊するウイルス製剤テロメライシンの研究開発をおこなってきた。消化器癌治療における病態に応じた低侵襲手術の実現を目指し、癌のリンパ節転移に対するテロメライシンの治療効果を検討した。癌の原発巣に投与したテロメライシンはリンパ流に乗ってリンパ節に到達し、転移病巣内で治療効果を発揮することが確認された。テロメライシンは癌の原発巣とともにリンパ節転移をも治療できる可能性が示された。
