Research Abstract

脳原発悪性リンパ腫の生物学的特徴を解析する目的で、FDG-PET 検査を行い、そのグルコース代謝を他の脳腫瘍と比較検討した。また生検組織を用いて、リンパ腫発生や固形癌の悪性化に関与する翻訳開始因子eIF4Eの発現を解析した。次にリンパ腫培養細胞株を用いて、eIF4Eの活性化酵素であるMNKinaseの阻害実験を行ったところ、増殖抑制、細胞死誘導がみられた。更に免疫不全マウスにリンパ腫細胞株を移植したモデルをMNKinase阻害薬にて治療したところ、腫瘍増大抑制効果がみられた。
