| Research Abstract |
まず、抗うつ薬を用いた疼痛時の不安感受性亢進に対する効果および抗うつ薬の抗侵害効果・抗不安効果の脳内作用機序について検討した。神経障害性疼痛により、不安関連行動の生ずることがマウスで示された。また、抗うつ薬は疼痛に伴う不安などの情動障害の治療に有用であることが示された。次に、感覚・運動刺激が豊富な環境(EE)下で自己複製能と多分化能を有する海馬神経の新生変化に対する神経障害性疼痛の影響について検討した。EE下では、海馬における神経新生が促進され、神経障害性疼痛がEEによる神経新生促進作用を抑制することが示された。
これらは、慢性疼痛(神経障害性疼痛)患者に対する治療戦略の手がかりとなりうる重要な所見であり、今後の臨床への応用が期待できる。
