Research Abstract

近交系マウスを用いて,頚動脈小体の形態学的な遺伝的個体差の存在が明らかになった。さらに,頚動脈小体を構成するglomus細胞におけるneuronal nicotinic acetylcholine receptorsの発現様式における遺伝的個体差を明らかにし,glomus細胞の低酸素性化学伝達の遺伝学的個体差の存在が明らかとなった。これらのことが,低酸素性呼吸応答の遺伝学的個体差の要因になっていると推測した。
