| Research Abstract |
本研究では、HSV-1を用いたウイルス療法が前立腺癌の新治療法として近い将来確立することを視野に入れ、プロモータ制御型の前立腺癌特異的な増殖型HSV-1ベクターの開発を目的として実験を進めた。 既に、前立腺組織特異プロモータとしてPSAやPSMA、オステオカルシンを使用したウイルスや、癌特異的なhTERTを使用したウイルス、negative control としてのempty ウイルスなどの数種類のウイルスの作製に成功した。さらに、これらの新規ウイルスが前立腺癌に有効であることを動物実験にて確認した。
