Research Abstract

腎癌患者において、DNA修復遺伝子型と腫瘍の進展度または生存率との間に相関が認められた。上部尿路癌患者においては、DNA修復遺伝子多型は病期および病理学的悪性度を凌駕する独立した予後予測因子であることが示された。また、XPC遺伝子型は膀胱癌患者に対する化学放射線療法における毒性の発生を予測する因子として有用であった。これら遺伝子多型の解析により治療の個人化を実現する可能性があることが示唆された。
