Research Abstract

ホルモン抵抗性前立腺癌にAT1R阻害剤は血管新生を抑制することで抗腫瘍効果を発揮することを証明してきたが、Angiotensin IIそのものの機能については不明である。本研究では、内分泌抵抗性を獲得するにつれAT1R発現、その下流ではVEGF発現に関連する転写因子(Ets-1,HIF-1α)の活性化が強まっていた。以上から前立腺癌内分泌抵抗性とともに血管新生が増強するメカニズムの一端を証明した。
