Research Abstract	ヒト雄性不妊において発現異常が多く見受けられる精細胞特異的発現タンパク質プロタミンに着眼し、マウスES細胞をもちいた遺伝子破壊法によってプロタミン1欠損マウスを作製してその解析をおこなった。その結果プロタミン1欠損マウスは、ヘテロで精子核凝縮の不全に由来すると思われる精子運動能の著しい減退による不妊を示し、無力精子症様の疾患モデルマウスになりうる事がわかった。
