| Research Abstract |
前置癒着胎盤の疫学調査を行い、日本国内における発生率とその危険因子を明らかとした。また手術時の大量出血を予防するためのInterventional Radiology を用いた集学的治療の効果と限界について検討を行い、これも報告した。前置癒着胎盤では、脱落膜が欠損する部位に胎盤絨毛が浸潤し、子宮平滑筋をapoptosis に陥らせ、胎盤が置換することを基礎研究によって明らかとした。
