Research Abstract

「骨粗鬆症モデルラットにおいて骨組織内細胞外マトリックスで生じている変化はコラーゲンに比べてプロテオグリカンの方が著しい」ことが我々の以前のパイロットスタディで認められていた。本研究では骨粗鬆症モデルラットを用いた同じ実験系で1)プロテオグリカンの著明な変化に再現性があること。2)骨粗鬆症となるまでの途中の段階でも同様な傾向があること。3)プロテオグリカンを投与することで骨強度の低下が予防される可能性があることを確認した。
