| Research Abstract |
生理活性因子ミッドカインの発現を眼疾患および疾患モデルマウスで解析を行った。眼疾患ではミッドカインの発現は認められなかったが、レーザー誘発脈絡膜新生血管モデルマウスの網膜組織ではレーザー照射後に一過性のミッドカインの発現上昇が認められた。
細胞外基質の1つヘパラン硫酸をノックアウトしたマウスでは、ヒトの発達緑内障に類似の発生異常が起こり、ヘパリン結合性生理活性因子の1つTGFβ2の情報伝達機能に異常を来していることが確認された。
神経保護作用を持つセリ科植物明日葉由来のカルコン類は、ラット網膜グリア細胞に作用し生体成分に発現変化を起こすことを確認した。
