Research Abstract |
臼歯の歯根形成にはヘルトヴィッヒ上皮鞘(HERS)が重要な役割を果たすことが知られているが、その中で理解が乏しいHERS発達のメカニズムについて今回検討した。我々は2つのオリジナルな器官培養系を用いて上皮成長因子epidermal growth factor、インスリン様成長因子insulin-like growth factor-Iが、それぞれ歯冠形成からHERS形成の移行時期、HERSの伸長・発達に重要な作用を示すことを明らかにした。
