| Research Abstract |
難治性根尖性歯周組織炎患者から菌を分離し、それらの菌種間のバイオフィルム形成における相互作用について検討を加えた。得られた菌株のうち複数の菌種間でバイオフィルム形成における相乗効果が認められた。これらのうちその効果が最も顕著に認められたFusobacteriumnucleatumとPorphyromonas gingivalis間で相互作用の解析の結果、P. gingivalisからの可用性物質によってF. nucleatumのバイオフィルム形成が促進され、F. nucleatum菌体のタンパクプロファイルに変化していた。さらにこの組み合わせでの混合感染によって、歯肉上皮細胞および血管内皮細胞へのP. gingivalis侵入効率の上昇が認められ、複数の細菌によるpolymicrobialinfectionによる病原性の変化が明らかになった。
