Research Abstract

破骨細胞はプロトンポンプによるH^+分泌とClC7型Cl^-チャネルによるCl^-分泌により塩酸を分泌して骨を溶かして血中Ca^<2+>濃度を調節する。本研究は、これら二つの酸分泌体は機能的、形態的カップリングをしていることが明かとなった。さらに、ClC7型Cl^-チャネルの調節タンパク質と報告されているOstm1 (Osteoclast transmembrane protein1)以外に機能的な調節分子が存在する可能性があることが明らかになった。又常染色体優勢骨大理石病の病因としてClCn7の点変異がCl^-分泌能を抑制することが明らかになった。
