Research Abstract

SPARCはosteonectinとしても知られる細胞外基質タンパク質である. 本研究では癌細胞の悪性形質発現への役割について検討した. その結果, 癌細胞が作り出す微小細胞外pHの酸性化は, 高転移性B16-BL6からのSPARCのprocessingを促進し, 癌細胞の悪性形質発現に寄与していることが示唆された. また, 酸性細胞外pH刺激により活性化する細胞内情報伝達には, 細胞外からのCa^(2+)の流入によるphospholipase Dの活性化の他, acidic sphingomyelinaseの活性化も重要であることを見出した.
