| Research Abstract |
Subjects were patients with unilateral cleft lip and palate who had been treated according to two different protocols in Hokkaido university hospital, two-stage palatoplasty and one-stage palatoplasty. Dental arch relationships, maxillary growth and speech results were compared and evaluated longitudinally. Then a monocortical mandibular bone grafting procedure for reconstruction of alveolar cleft was assessed.
