Research Abstract

顎顔面領域において、より機能的で形態的にも優れた再生軟骨移植法を確立するため、再生組織の変形や形成不全の原因となる移植後組織反応を解析した。耳介軟骨細胞とポリ乳酸足場素材で構築される再生軟骨を、免疫不全マウスや遺伝子改変マウスの皮下へ移植し、組織学的、生化学的に検討を行った。足場素材のみを移植した場合と比較し、再生軟骨では惹起される組織反応が低く、移植された軟骨細胞が積極的に免疫反応に関与することにより再生軟骨の成熟に貢献している可能性が示唆された。
